Time for a Desk Stretch!

Desk Stretch:
Do you have a job that involves sitting at a desk all day? Or are you in school and find yourself sitting all day? Do your shoulders, neck or back ever hurt at the end of the day? Listed below is a list of stretches, designed for you to do at your desk, so you don’t have to end your day in pain.
1. Shoulder Shrugs:
• Gently lift your shoulders
• Let them slowly fall
• You should feel tension being released as your shoulders drop
2. Neck Rotations:
• Keep your head upright
• Gently turn your head from side to side
• As you turn your head, try to move it past your shoulder
• You should feel the muscles on the outside of your neck gradually stretching
3. Posterior Shoulder Stretch:
• Hold one arm across your body
• Pull your elbow into your chest
• You should feel your shoulder gently stretching
