physical activity

This learning module provides participants with an overview of physical activity for those working-in or preparing to work in the early years and preschool environments. The module contains five sections that covers an introduction and benefits of physical activity, the statistics and research behind physical activity, the concept of physical literacy, the Canadian physical activity guidelines, and getting kids active. The module offers a self assessment tool, links to demonstration videos and numerous resources to support a variety of learning methods.
