Play Your Way, Every Day!

Family Day of PLAY

Celebrate Ontario’s mid-winter holiday by taking part in the Family Day of PLAY event. Families are encouraged to participate by being physically active on February 18th. Check out the list of activities happening in your community at www.playbrucegrey.com or like the PLAY Facebook page for the latest updates. Snow or no snow, all forms of physical activity benefits your health – try skiing, snowshoeing, skating, sledding or simply take the dog for a walk.

This event is organized by the PLAY in Bruce Grey physical activity collaborative, a partnership of the 17 municipalities, Saugeen First Nations and the Grey Bruce Health Unit. The mission of PLAY is for “Grey Bruce communities to work collaboratively to promote PLAY as a key aspect of physical activity and overall health.”

“Family Day is a opportunity for families to be active together. It’s a great time of year to explore the outdoors and hopefully we will have the snow to to encourage a variety of winter activities” said Jason Weppler, Health Promoter at the Grey Bruce Health Unit. “We want all Grey Bruce residents to include a little more activity into their day.”

PLAY in Bruce Grey encourages you to get active by “PLAY’ing your way, every day!”
